Collin Loock

Colin Loock started his journey in the event technical industry as an intern in 1994 and, two years later, found his footing and passion for event technical solutions – as a sound engineer. He worked his way up the ranks in multiple fields and disciplines over the next three decades until the ‘business of events’ became his focus.
Gifted with a remarkable ability to transcend the technical, Loock’s leadership skills are marked by a rare blend of vision, creative flair, and dedication to empowering teams with the knowledge and experience to transform even the most mundane of event technical setups into an immersive brand experience that leaves a lasting impression on audiences, engenders trust amongst clients and guarantees them a strong return on investment.
Fostering a collaborative work ethic where innovation flourishes, Loock has developed and restructured three event technical companies that are highly competitive operators in the industry to this day. With thousands of successful setups to his name, ranging from bespoke corporate events to brand development roadshows and international tours, Loock joined Virtual Productions in April 2020.
