Jean-Mellet Pellissier

As a manager in the restaurant trade for 12 years, Mel Pellissier obtained a diploma in event and project management. Throughout the 12 years, Mel hosted numerous successful events for internal and external clients.
Mel joined Virtual Productions in 2012 and fulfilled a sales role. The position and responsibilities grew to include warehouse operations, on site logistics, project management and key account management. Mel’s position in the company grew to include full responsibility for event technical logistics and operations as a partner in Virtual Productions – managing an average of 20 to 25 events per week. Mel has project managed numerous large and small events and is proficient in the costing, structuring, designing, and executing thereof.
Virtual Productions has expanded to include a larger portfolio of event related businesses and services – these include Virtual Productions, Sound GP(SGP), Immix Studios, Lucid Set Design, Music Room that all form part of Mel’s portfolio of responsibilities. Throughout covid and the time after, these companies have not only survived but rather, stabilised, grew and dominated market share. The power of this team lies in centralised services and cross pollination of clientele and projects.
